DaLene Forester, PhD is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Redding, California. Dr. Forester works with families, adolescents, and individuals in all aspects of relationships. Her specialties include eating disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia, and Binge Eating Disorder), anxiety disorders and the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Dr. Forester is a Board Certifed Expert in Traumatic Stress and has worked in the field of eating disorders for over 20 years. She has been trained in hypnosis, is Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a EMDRIA Approved Consultant in EMDR and EMDR Trainer.  Dr. Forester is a CAMFT Certified Supervisor, an approved CEU provider with the California BBS, California Board of RN's, EMDRIA, and the MCEP Accrediting Agency.  Dr. Forester has been trained by Dr. Daniel Amen in Brain SPECT imaging interpretation, diagnosis, and treatment.
